Busy Bee Bookshelf helps busy parents find great books for their growing children.

It was founded by an award-winning elementary school teacher and passionate advocate for reading who spent years in the classroom teaching kindergarten and second-grade children. She watched as books opened her students' eyes and expanded their worlds, developing their vocabulary and focusing their attention. She supported parents as they worked to translate their school's reading systems into practical book recommendations. She organized bookshelves in her own classrooms according to her schools' reading classification systems, researching each title – one by one – to know where to place it. Most important, she talked to her students – what do you like, what inspires you? – and recommended books to match.

Busy Bee Bookshelf makes that same inspirational work easier for parents, using the tremendous power of technology to harmonize multiple reading systems commonly used by schools and collect feedback and reviews to recommend great books for growing kids.
