How we make recommendations

Different schools use different reading-level systems, and feedback about great books and how they might fit within each system is scattered around the web. We use technology to do the research and make recommendations based on whatever reading level your school provides you and your child's interests. Don't know your school's system? That's just fine too - we can make recommendations based on your child's grade and how they're doing generally as a reader. These suggestions are a starting point, not an official match to any system. Always do a reality check and trust your teachers, librarians, and instincts.
